Dunlop to sponsor Babes Ride Out

Dunlop Tires has announced its support for Babes Ride Out East Coast – the ladies motorcycle ride and campout event will take place from June 4-6 in Narrowsburg, New York. The event will take riders on some of the most beautiful routes in the lower Catskills along with camping beside the Delaware River, and will be their first event since the pandemic started.

Powersports Business has also reported other companies and dealerships are providing sponsorship or support for the International Female Ride Day on May 1, 2021.

The ladies-only motorcycle ride and campouts have been quickly gaining traction since starting in 2013. Casual conversation between founders Ashmore Ellis and Anya Violet turned into a “girl’s weekend” of motorcycle riding and camping, effectively creating Babes Ride Out.

“The intention since that first gathering was to connect and empower women to explore the world on two wheels. All of our support and partnerships have come organically from that moment on. Dunlop truly believes in this movement and sees our vision of growing the percentage of women riders, together, to make up a more diverse and inclusive riding community as a whole,” said Ellis. “We couldn’t be prouder to work with Dunlop on enhancing the on road and off-road culture and are thrilled to take them with us on this ride.”
