Vendor permits pulled at Bike Week, but traffic not affected: report
The city of Daytona Beach revoked vendor permits at Bike Week on Friday to discourage large gatherings because of the coronavirus, according to a report in the Daytona Beach News-Journal.
The event concluded on Sunday without large-crowd events on Main Street, Beach Street and Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard.
The article references that Main Street was full of bikes Saturday just as it had been the previous Saturday, with one bar operator noting that Main Street was “slammed” with people.
