Harley-Davidson dealership owners present amended project plans: report

New plans for a proposed Harley-Davidson dealership in New Hyde Park on Long Island, New York, were revealed at a public hearing last week, according to a report on the TheIslandNow.com.

The dealership was first proposed in 2015 and has raised opposition from residents at public hearings ever since. Amir Jarrah, owner of Miracle Mile Harley-Davidson in Great Neck, would like to buy the property and move the dealership to the new location, TheIslandNow.com report details.

The project’s developers are applying for a special use permit from the village, according to TheIslandNow.com.
