Polaris, dealership form partnership with NHL player

An NHL player with Minnesota roots has agreed to a sponsorship with RideNow Vegas and Polaris.

RideNow Vegas and Polaris announced that Nate Schmidt, a St. Cloud native who played at the University of Minnesota, will be an official brand ambassador for the 2019-20 hockey season. As part of the sponsorship, Schmidt, a defenseman for the Vegas Golden Knights, will be riding in style aboard a custom wrapped 2019 Polaris Slingshot and a 2019 Polaris RZR, custom wrapped in a gold/black theme fitting of his gameday attire with the Las Vegas Knights.

As part of the brand sponsorship, the five RideNow Powersports Vegas valley locations (RideNow Boulder, RideNow Rancho, RideNow Craig, Sin City Indian Motorcycle and Ducati Las Vegas) will be enter-to-win hotspots for various Vegas hockey prizes including autographed memorabilia, meet-and-greet opportunities and their “Golden Ticket Giveaway,” consisting of a pair of center ice tickets with complimentary parking to all home games.

“Nate is a great ambassador for the sport of hockey and now, powersports,” said Chris Rice, regional operations manager for RideNow Vegas. “The passion he shows on the ice mixed with the character he is off the ice makes him a relatable, down-to-earth star. Being a Minnesota boy himself, it seemed fitting for the Polaris connection and we’re excited for him to join our RideNow team.”

Vegas valley residents 18-and-older can enter to win the Vegas Hockey Prizes mentioned above by:

  • Visiting a RideNow Vegas location for an entry form
  • Test driving a new Polaris Slingshot at RideNow Boulder or RideNow Rancho
  • Attending a RideNow Vegas event
