Fire damage at dealership could surpass $1 million: report

The cause of a fire at an Indian Motorcycle dealership is still under investigation, with the owner reporting that damage to the bikes alone could exceed $1 million, according to a report.

The WCCO4-TV website reports that Bison Thunder Motorcycle in St. Michael had extensive interior damage from the fire. Owner Doug Kauth reports that there were no injuries in the Sept. 25 fire.

The dealership notes on Facebook that it has been forced to close the location temporarily, but it re-opened 10 days after the fire in a building adjacent to the structure that endured the fire.

It also touts being the only dealership in the country “to offer the NO WORRIES PROMISE, life-time power train warranty; scheduled services free for 2 years; and wear item replacement free for 2 years.”

The dealership also owns Bison Thunder Motorcycle – St. Paul.
