August U.S retail performance revealed from Lightspeed dealers
Composite data from U.S. dealerships that use the Lightspeed DMS from CDK Global Recreation reflects that summer apparently left like a lion, with Same Store Sales at 1,697 dealerships showing an average revenue increase of 6.8 percent in parts, service and new and pre-owned unit sales. The exclusive data is compared to August 2018 at the same dealerships.
Parts once again turned positive overall in the U.S., with sales up 0.2 percent on average.
Revenue from new and pre-owned unit sales reached 15 percent growth in the West region during the month.
