Dealer opening third dealership in state: report

Jay Hatfield is opening a Honda and Kawasaki dealership in Wichita.

The Columbus-based auto and motorsports dealer will be opening Jay Hatfield Motorsports of Wichita on the northeast corner of Kellogg and Greenwich, where the former Schofield luxury dealership was located.

Hatfield said that the new dealership comes as a result of Honda and Kawasaki reaching out to him about needing a dealer in the area.
