Georgia dealership seeks to rebuild after 2017 fire (report)

Glynn County’s Mainland Planning Commission is expected to consider an application to rebuild Bargeron Powersports and Marine in Brunswick, Georgia. The dealership burned down in May 2017 after 55-gallon drums of high-octane racing gas caught fire.

Over two dozen firefighters spent 90 minutes fighting the blaze before containing the flames. The store, however, was a total loss.

The county planning and zoning division’s staff report states the owner wants to reopen and run the same business as before the fire.
