Polaris begins construction on new main lobby

On Friday, Polaris Industries and Hagen, Christensen and McIlwain Architects kicked off the construction of a new lobby to the Polaris plant in Roseau, Minnesota.

The $2.1 million project will elevate the plant, said director of operations Nathan Hanson. The city of Roseau also will contribute to the infrastructure.

“We’re competing in a tight labor market, and this addition will help us stand out and get ahead,” Hanson said.

An internal remodel will start immediately and outside construction will begin in the spring.

“We want to have everything complete in July because our 65th anniversary is near then,” Hanson said.

The nearly 4,000 square foot addition to the plant will consist of a reception area, tour launch area, display units and conference rooms.

“This is a great partnership between Polaris and the city,” Hanson said. “This will be a great first impression for customers, employees and potential employees.”
