Hurricane Florence sends industry companies packing

Industry companies in the Carolinas are closing their doors in preparation for Hurricane Florence.

Seizmik expects disruptions to regular business operation due to Hurricane Florence and will be closing normal business operations at noon EDT on Thursday.

According to the company’s Instagram post: “Hurricane Florence is expected to bring heavy winds, torrential rain, downed trees, flooding, and power outages to the entire Carolina region. While we expect a few days of disruption to our regular routine, we’re asking our customers with warranty issues and questions for a little patience as we weather the storm.”

For the fourth time in three years, Bintelli will be closing its offices in Charleston, South Carolina, due to an extreme weather event, the company told dealers in an email.

“Charleston is under a mandatory evacuation and many of our employees have already fled. The track for this storm is extremely unpredictable so we are unsure at this time when we will reopen. Thank you for your patience, we promise to get the doors open again as soon as we can safely return after the storm has passed. Your Bintelli Family.”

Most dealerships in the region posted announcements on social media that they have already closed or will be closing soon in advance of Florence.
