Report: Eicher Motors halts joint venture with Polaris

Eicher Motors, which produces Royal Enfield Motorcycles, announced the end of a joint venture project with Polaris, according to a report from Reuters. 

The equal venture, Eicher Polaris Pvt Ltd, was formed in 2012 to a personal utility vehicle line called Multix. After reporting a net loss of 918.3 million rupees ($14.13 million) for the year through March 31, Eicher Motors decided to end the joint venture.

Eicher motors will continue to provide service support for the Multix.
