Report: Harley-Davidson named in trade war
Harley-Davidson was named by the European Union as the target of a retaliatory tariff against the United States, according to a recent report from Reuters.
In response to President Donald Trump’s decision to implement a 25 percent tariff on imported steel and a 10 percent tariff on aluminum on Friday, European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker said that they will put tariffs on Harley-Davidson, as well as Levi’s and Bourbon.
“We are here and they will get to know us. We would like a reasonable relationship to the United States, but we cannot simply put our head in the sand,” Juncker told a German TV station.
