40-year-old parts and accessories store closing in California

Road Rider Motorcycle Accessories, the Bay Area’s largest motorcycle gear and accessory store, is closing after 40 years of operation in San Jose, California.

Road Rider was known locally for its annual Brain Day event, in which helmet manufacturers would come into the store to set up shop and talk product and features with Road Rider customers.

Road Rider announced its “Everything Must Go” sale, including helmets, jackets, gloves, boots, parts, accessories and tires.

Tire service equipment has already been sold, but 40 years’ worth of retail fixtures, shelving and equipment is available for purchase.
