Xtreme International Ice Racing heads to Missouri arena
The Xtreme International Ice Racing (XIIR), a professional motorcycle race on ice, will head to the Family Arena in St. Charles Missouri for one show on Saturday, Jan. 27, reported The Alton Telegraph.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. with the race beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the arena.
XIIR founder Anthony Barlow told the news source, “It’s dangerous. … My manager is in a wheelchair, permanently. He taught me. I broke my ankle last year. Some people think it’s a show, which in a way it is, but people don’t go out and break their ankle for a laugh.”
Barlow added, “We’ll sell you a seat, but you’ll only use the edge of it.”
