The NHRA announced that E3 Spark Plugs, the manufacturer of DiamondFIRE spark plugs and performance ignition products, has renewed its sponsorship agreement with NHRA which includes their latest decision to sponsor NHRA’s Pro Mod series. As part of this multi-year agreement, E3 Spark Plugs is designated as the “Official Ignition Products of NHRA.”
E3 Spark Plugs has been involved with NHRA racing across all platforms and recently became the title sponsor for the E3 Spark Plugs NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series presented by J&A Service. This 12-event series is growing rapidly both in participation and fanbase. The sponsorship renewal will continue to provide E3 with opportunities to incorporate its official logo in advertising, promotions, point-of-purchase materials, and on packaging for each designated product. On site, E3 will enjoy presence at all 24 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series events including signage, inflatables and advertising through NHRA’s multimedia outlets, as well as commercial inventory in NHRA’s FOX Sports broadcasts.
“We value the continued support of E3 Spark Plugs and their dedication to NHRA drag racing,” said Brad Gerber, vice president and chief development officer at NHRA. “They have been an integral partner and are excited to start a new season with them.”
“E3 has enjoyed a long-standing relationship with the NHRA and with the recent successes of the past two seasons, drag racing is enjoying a renaissance so it made perfect sense to take this opportunity to extend our status as the Official Ignition Products of the NHRA,” said Rob Fisher, E3’s vice president of motorsports. “This extension coupled with our new position as the title sponsor of the Pro Mod division series demonstrates our commitment to NHRA, its racers and its fans.”
NHRA’s 2018 Mello Yello Drag Racing Series kicks off in February in Pomona, Calif.
