Robber shot after attempting theft at dealership
A man trying to rob a dealership in Louisville, Kentucky, was shot by a dealership employee while attempting the theft, reported WAVE 3 News. The incident was caught on surveillance video.
Jack Dohoney told WAVE 3 News that he was working early Saturday morning, when a man pointed a gun at him, demanding tools from the service department. The robber then asked for the keys to the truck at the shop and told Dohoney that Dohoney would have to come with him. Dohoney told the robber he’d have to go to the front counter to get the truck keys, but instead, he returned with a gun that was kept under the counter. When the robber again pointed his gun at Dohoney, Dohoney shot the robber. The robber was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
