Industry members steps up to fix veteran’s Slingshot

An Arizona-based dealership, along with other area businesses, refurbished a Vietnam War veteran’s Polaris Slingshot free of charge, donating approximately $2,500 in parts and 20 hours of labor, according to the Apache Junction Independent

Arizona Kawasaki Slingshot’s service manager Joshua Moore and customer Travis Wilson reached out to employees at the dealership, Alpha Powersports and Slingmods to help refurbish the Slingshot.

Vietnam War veteran Paul Erier was surprised with his repaired Slingshot on July 8, at Arizona Kawasaki Slingshot, surrounded by members of Erier’s Slingshot riding group East Valley Slingshots.

Moore told the Apache Junction Independent, “This whole process, being able to help a veteran in need from start to finish has been one of the most gratifying experiences I had yet in the years I’ve been in this industry.”
