BRP recalls 94 Spyders
BRP has recalled 94 units of the 2017 Can-Am Spyder RT due to issues with the headlight on the affected units, the low beam may shine too high.
According to the recall notice, due to a manufacturing error within the headlight assembly, the headlight may shine too high when on the low beam setting. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, “Lamps, Reflective Devices, and associated Equipment.”
BRP will notify owners, and dealers will replace the defective headlights, free of charge. The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule.
