Wisconsin dealership to move into former Walmart
Action Power Sports of Waukesha, Wis., has announced its plans to relocate and expand its powersports dealership into a former Walmart complex. The dealership purchased the 42,000-square-foot building and 15-acre property, which has been vacant for a year, in February.
The new space will be occupied by new and used motorcycles, dirt bikes, 3-wheel roadsters, ATVs, side by side utility vehicles (UTVs), snowmobiles, WaveRunners and scooters, parts, accessories and apparel departments and full service repair shop.
Steve Scholler, owner of Action Power Sports, said, “The physical size of powersports vehicles manufacturers offer has increased in the last 5 years and the space we need to display them has to follow suit.”
Noting products like the 4-wheel utility vehicles that can seat up to 6 people and travel at speeds up to 80 mph. These UTVs can be the size of a small truck and need plenty of room for display. Interest is up since the State of Wisconsin approved UTVs for use on recreational trail systems. Currently, plans are in the works for the state to allow trail access for off-road motorcycles as well.

Our giant parking lot will offer plenty of room for test rides, training and events,” said Scholler.
The dealership currently employs 30 people and seeks to add several more staff this month. A liquidation of remaining inventory us underway at the Travis Lane location to lighten the burden of moving. The new Action Power Sports store should be operational on Coral Drive sometime in April, with a large grand opening bash planned for summer.

The new dealership will be located at SI4W22605 Coral Dr., Waukesha, WI 53186. Action Power Sports is a full line Honda, Suzuki, Polaris Off-Road, Polaris Slingshot, Can-Am Off-Road, Can-Am Spyder, Ski-Doo, Sea-Doo and Yamaha WaveRunner Dealer.
