Polaris donates new engines to technician program

Students in the Outdoor Power Products Technician program at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College (WITC) just received two new Indian Scout motorcycles engines donated by Polaris, according to an article in the New Richmond News.

WITC instructor Dave Brown commented in an interview that the engines will aid in classroom demonstrations and discussions: “I plan to partially disassemble one of the engines allowing learners to see the internal parts and how they work. These engines, along with other equipment, will be great for class use here at WITC, as well as demonstrating them to area high schools in their mechanics classes.”

The Outdoor Power Products Technician program is offered as a one-year, financial aid-eligible program, available only at the New Richmond WITC campus.
