Aftermarket company returns to dealer direct distribution

As of Sept. 30, 2016, Powerlet, Atomic Skin and Luggage Electrix products will no longer be distributed through Parts Unlimted or Drag Specialties. The company released a press release explaining its decision and updating its dealers on Oct. 17:

“After much deliberation, the decision of moving to a Dealer Direct Model was made to help keep a close relationship with dealers across the United States. We believe this change will only strengthen Powerlet’s presence across the U.S. and lead to more customers seeking our products in the dealership environment. Also, in order to keep dealers apprised of what is going on with Powerlet products, in the coming months dealers will receive our dealer newsletter. The Powerlet Newsletter will include important information about marketing activities, on-going promotions, existing products and sneak peeks at new products on the horizon.

In addition to the change in our distribution model, Powerlet is also revising our FREE SHIPPING policy. Previously, customers were eligible for free shipping on orders of $350 or more for U.S.-based dealers. The new policy will qualify orders of $150 or more for free shipping for U.S.-based dealers. … We hope this serves as good news for our dealers, and we look forward to a closer working relationship with each of you.
