Tennessee dealer to celebrate 50th anniversary

Jim’s Motorcycle Sales, of Johnson City, Tenn., will celebrate its golden anniversary as a Honda dealer, according to an article in the Johnson City Press.

“Honda has been with us and they will continue to be with us. They are our No. 1 line. My dad, if [it] doesn’t say Honda, you have a tough time with him. They’re a good company and it’s a good line with Honda,” Kirk Hayes, grandson of company founder Jim Hayes Sr., commented in an interview.

The dealership added Honda in 1966 and Kirk Hayes said he expects the partnership to last for years to come. The 50th anniversary celebration will take place Aug. 18-20.
