Harley-Davidson vet joins BMW Motorrad for North America

Michael Peyton, a nine-year veteran of Harley-Davidson Motor Company, has joined BMW Motorrad, according to an email sent to BMW dealers and personnel.

Peyton will serve as head of Region North America beginning July 25, reads the email.

According to Peyton’s LinkedIn profile, he joined Harley-Davidson as a regional sales manager in March 2007. He then moved on to director of regional sales operations, then director of channel strategy and director of marketing for parts, accessories and general merchandise for North America. In January, he began a role leading United States Dealer Development in the Americas Region. Before joining Harley-Davidson, Peyton spent more than six years at Ford Motor Company.
