Kawasaki recently announced that it would establish a production line to manufacture cargo doors for Boeing’s 777X airplane at its plant in Lincoln, according to an article on Omaha.com.
While in the past Kawasaki has produced products for land, sea and railroad transportation, this is the OEM’s first time branching out into airplane parts in the U.S. Production is set to begin in May of 2017, once production equipment is installed in the existing factory plant.
