All-Female riding group gets social media support (video)

Video available via NBC4 News Southern Califronia, here.

In 2015, co-foundersAnya Violet and Ashmore Ellis began planning a meet up event for female riders. Babes Ride Out used social media to promote itself and this year the event gained 1,200, making it the largest gathering of women motorcyclists in history, according to NBC4 News.

Ellis commented in an interview, “I think it took off because we used social media for its true purpose. Once these girls started seeing each other and their stories, they started connecting with each other on Instagram and before you know it 50 turned into over 1,200 girls.”

The group is already planning for next year’s “Babes Ride Out 4” in 2016.
