Scooter dealer offers Stella Auto Week

Scooterville, a Genuine, KYMCO, Piaggio and Vespa scooter dealership in Minneapolis, hosted Stella Auto Week Aug. 19-23. The week was dedicated to Genuine’s new Stella Automatic scooter, offering test rides, drawings, activities and daily deals throughout the week. The dealership also encouraged customers to bring their already-owned scooters in for trade-in evaluations. The event concluded Saturday, Aug. 23 with an all-brands scooter ride and $400 off MSRP on Stella Automatic demo models.

Dealership helps raise funds for Make-A-Wish

J&L Harley-Davidson’s Hot Harley Nights, held July 10-13 in Sioux Falls, S.D., raised more than $172,000 for Make-A-Wish South Dakota. In 19 years, Hot Harley Nights has raised more than $2 million for the organization, reported KELO AM. More than 1,200 people from 15 states joined the poker run, while the motorcycle parade included more than 4,500 bikes, and more than 35,000 people attended Saturday evening activities. J&L Harley-Davidson’s 20th annual Hot Harley Nights is set for July 9-12, 2015.

Texas dealership joins the EBR network

Texas Motor Sports in Killeen, Texas, has added EBR Motorcycles to its lineup, joining Yamaha.

Multi-line dealership adds Triumph

Cycle Nation, a Sea-Doo, Honda Kawasaki, Polaris, Suzuki and Yamaha dealership in Huntsville, Ala., has added the Triumph line. The dealership announced in a recent e-newsletter that it is now a source of Triumph motorcycle sales, parts, service, accessories and apparel.

Indian dealership hosts Grand Opening

Indian Motorcycle Kansas City, a RideNow Powersports dealership in Olathe, Kan., celebrated its Grand Opening from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 15 and Saturday, Aug. 16. The event included demos of the 2014 Indian Chief on both days, with the first 50 demo riders each day receiving a free T-shirt. The dealership also offered free food from Taco Republic Truck and live music by Outlaw Jim and the Whiskey Benders from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.

Texas dealership hires new sales associate

Harley-Davidson of Waco has hired Rex “Doc” Holliday as its newest motorcycle sales associate, according to the dealership’s Facebook page. Holliday is from Austin, Texas, and he has several years experience in motorcycle sales.
