Hollywood Electrics, an electric-only motorcycle dealership in West Hollywood, Calif., has joined the Brammo dealer network.

“The world’s best electric motorcycle shop just got better. Hollywood Electrics is proud to carry Brammo’s electric motorcycles at its flagship store in the heart of Los Angeles,” stated Harlan Flagg, founder and owner of Hollywood Electrics.

Hollywood Electrics and Brammo will host a Grand Opening on Saturday, Aug. 16.

Adopt-A-Thon focuses on pre-owned bikes

Woodstock Harley-Davidson in Woodstock, Ill., hosted a “HOG Adopt-A-Thon” to move pre-owned bikes on Saturday, Aug. 2. “We’re busing at the seams with pre-owned Harley-Davidson motorcycles!” a recent e-newsletter said. The dealership promised a pre-owned tent event with finance specials and dedicated F&I and sales experts on hands. The event included BBQ pulled pork, fresh corn and beer.

Canadian dealer moves marine location

Martin Motor Sports is celebrating the Grand Opening of its new Calgary location from 6-10 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 6. The event will include hors d’oeuvres, savings on watersports accessories, new 2015 boats on display and MasterCraft Pro Water Ski Shootout athletes. The new facility, at 3444 44 Ave. SE in Calgary carries boats from MasterCraft, Moomba, Supra, Manitou and Bennington. Martin Motor Sports has five dealerships in total, some of which also carry powersports vehicles from BRP’s Sea-Doo, Ski-Doo and Can-Am.

10th anniversary celebration for Tennessee dealership

Smoky Mountain Harley-Davidson held a 10th Birthday Bash this past weekend. The event, which ran from Friday, Aug. 1 to Sunday, Aug. 3, included vendors, food and carnival games. The Hellazpoppin’ Circus Sideshow Revue performed Friday and Saturday, with Scott Miller & The Common Wealth ($20 tickets) headlining the entertainment Friday night, and Shooter Jennings & Waymore’s Outlaws with Cathouse Profits ($25 tickets) performing Saturday night. Fiddies 4 Life exhibition races ran Sunday.

One more new Indian dealership

Got Gear Motorsports in Mississippi is continuing to make progress on its addition of Indian Motorcycles to the lineup. The store teamed up with Oasis Customs for a pair of custom Indian paint jobs. The first one sold on the first day. Got Gear also will host a showing of the “The John Penton Story” at a local movie theatre.

Iowa dealership grows

Fenders Cycle and Motorsport in Des Moines, Iowa, is growing, moving its original store to a new location and adding another store in Ames. The Des Moines location is moving to a larger building about a half a mile from its current facility, reported the Ames Tribune. That location will open in late August or September. Fender Cycle of Ames Honda, which will carry Honda ATVs, side-by-sides, scooters and motorcycles, is expected to open in September, with a grand opening expected a month or two later.
