Vance & Hines shows new exhaust at V-Twin Expo

Vance & Hines showed V-Twin Expo attendees that it’s continuing to add to its extensive line of exhausts.

For its customers looking for a premium piece, Vance & Hines showcased the Stainless Hi-Output 2-into-1 system for 2009-13 Harley-Davidson touring models. The system is engineered for high-output engine modifications, with all-stainless-steel construction and TIG welding. The Stainless Hi-Output 2-into-1, which is manufactured at the company’s Indianapolis facility, is already doing well for the company.

“We literally can’t make them fast enough,” said John Potts, VP of sales and marketing.

Other products Vance & Hines showed at the expo were the Big Radius 2-into-2 for the CVO Breakout, and the Monster Square exhaust, which complements the Monster Oval line. Sales manager Ryan Lewis told Powersports Business that the Monster Square pipes produce the same sound as the Monster Ovals, but line up better with the saddlebags.

“We’ve always gotten request for bikes that fill out the bags more,” he added.

Though Vance & Hines saw fewer dealers at the snowy show than in previous years, Potts was impressed with the quality of attendees.

“The dealers that are here seem to be really serious,” he said from the show.

Aftermarket companies were greeted by “really serious” dealers at V-Twin Expo in Cincinnati.
