Harley dealer dies after suffering heart attack

George Stevens, owner of Elyria Harley-Davidson/Lake Erie Harley-Davidson in Ohio, died at the age of 68 on Sunday.

Stevens, who had recently been told he had beaten lung cancer, suffered a heart attack, reported The Chronicle-Telegram in Elyria.

The dealership posted this message on its Facebook page Sunday: “It is with great sorrow we must announce the passing of George Stevens the long time owner of Elyria Harley-Davidson/Lake Erie Harley-Davidson. George’s family, wife Barb, son Mike and daughter Lori asks that the friends and patrons of both dealerships please keep George in their thoughts and prayers.”
