Polaris looks to expand Minnesota plant

Polaris Industries is planning to add nearly 144,000 square feet to its product development center in Wyoming, Minn.

The addition would include almost 70,000 square feet of office space and 74,000 square feet for industrial uses, according to the Wyoming Reporter. Wyoming City Council members approved the expansion plan, on conditions brought forward by the Plan Commission, with a 5-0 vote last week. To read the full story, click here.

The plant, located about 30 miles north of Minneapolis/St. Paul opened in April 2005. The current 126,000-square-foot facility is responsible for the R&D of Victory Motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides and Polaris engines, according to Polaris’ website.
