Vectrix expands operations to Colombia

Vectrix, the New Bedford, Mass.-based manufacturer of two- and three-wheeled electric vehicles, motorcycles, and scooters, announced in a joint press conference with Propeller Energy SAS in Cali, Colombia that the company is developing operations in Cali, which will also include vehicle manufacturing and distribution.

“Over the past two years, Propeller Energy SAS has been searching globally for the best alternative energy solution to provide to the Latin American market. Vectrix offers award-winning, leading-edge technology that will bring a real world impact to Latin America,” said Camilo Matiz, president of Propeller Energy SAS.

“Our vision continues to be to bring our world class technology solutions to leading global markets. This event marks a significant milestone on our expansion,” Vectrix chief executive officer Don Buckley said. “Latin America has become a focus for our company and this partnership with Propeller Energy SAS greatly strengthens our market reach in the region. Propeller via Colombia offers a key strategic platform for our Latin America expansion. We look forward to being part of the Latin America growth and we look forward to embracing this new relationship.”

Propeller Energy SAS will be directly involved with developing core technologies, manufacturing projects, subsystem, and vehicle manufacturing.
