Christini releases 2012 lineup

Christini Technologies has announced the launch of its 2012 lineup of All Wheel Drive motorcycles.

The line includes the Christini AWD 450 ($6,895), AWD DS ($7,695), AWD Supermoto ($8,195), AWD 300 ($8,995) and AWD 250 ($8,995).

“Our line of AWD models will provide the opportunity for every motorcycle enthusiast to experience the quality and improved performance of All Wheel Drive,” president Steven Christini said.

Christini previously sold custom-made AWD models using modified OEM factory frames. The company is now looking forward to distributing its production motorcycles worldwide to more than 30 countries this year. Each bike features a proprietary AWD system, entirely enclosed within the frame and head tube of the motorcycle. The system is efficient, causing less than a 1 percent power loss and adding less than 15 pounds total weight to each motorcycle. Each bike’s final assembly takes place at Christini headquarters in Philadelphia.

“Our AWD system is race-tested, extremely durable and has been ridden with great success in U.S. and international races over the past six years,” Christini said.

The company reported great strides in 2011, with a successful year of racing in the X Games and EnduroCross series, and it was awarded a contract to supply the U.S. Military with tactical off-road motorcycles for operations worldwide. Christini will be appearing at Dealer Expo at Booth No. 2300.
