Dutch apparel company REV’IT! acquires TRYONIC
REV’IT! Sport International has acquired TRYONIC, an Italian brand that specializes in protection products. REV’IT! specializes in the development, design, sales and marketing of motorcycle apparel and accessories for both track and road use. The company saw 25 percent growth in the fiscal year ended August 2011.
“The acquisition of TRYONIC is — after acquiring the GORE-TEX license for apparel and gloves in 2009 — the next big moment for our company,” said Ivan Vos, managing director of REV’IT! Sport International B.V.
REV’IT! is able to immediately introduce TRYONIC to its global sales network in the motorcycle industry. Next year, REV’IT! will also introduce new products and concepts under the TRYONIC brand name.
The TRYONIC product range and development team will be fully integrated into REV’IT!’s operations in Oss, The Netherlands and New York.
