Honda joins stock market index
Honda Motor Co., Ltd. announced that the company has been selected for the first time as a component of the Dow Jones Sustainability Asia/Pacific Index. The Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (“DJSI”) serve as one of the key benchmarks for socially responsible investing.
The DJSI are the investment indices developed and offered cooperatively by the U.S.-based S&P Dow Jones Indices and Switzerland-based RobecoSAM, which evaluate sustainability of the world’s leading companies in terms of economic, environmental and social criteria and select companies that demonstrate overall excellence for the indices.
