50-inch-wide Wildcat ready for trails

Arctic Cat used its February snowmobile dealer meeting in Las Vegas to not only unveil its 2014 sled lineup, but the Minnesota-based OEM also announced that a new 50-inch-wide, trail-ready Wildcat is coming. Arctic Cat expects to begin shipping the 50-inch Wildcat to dealers in the 2014 fiscal fourth quarter.

“We are encouraged by the addition of the 50-inch Wildcat and the continuing expansion of the Wildcat lineup…,” Feltl and Company analyst Mark Smith reports in research note provided to Powersports Business. “We believe this will be a 700cc motor, and expect the pricing to be lower than other Wildcat products and closer to the RZR 570 from Polaris. We think the dealer reception to this news is positive.”
