WPS teams up with FOX for ski shocks

Western Power to distribute sled products

Western Power Sports (WPS) is proud to announce that they’ve teamed up with ride dynamics leader FOX. WPS is now stocking the full line of FLOAT 2 ski shocks for snowmobiles along with service parts, upgrade kits, and the necessary tools.

“FOX has a long history of winning races. I grew up watching snocross legends like Nathan Titus and Kirk Hibbert winning on FOX shocks,” said Rich Kumm, product manager at WPS. “And the legacy continues with today’s top athletes like Ross Martin, Robbie Malinoski, and Tucker Hibbert reaching the top box with FOX.

“I’m excited to be working with such a top-notch company and passing their high-quality line of suspension on to our dealers,” Kumm added.

“We are excited to add WPS as a FOX distributor. They are a proven leader in the aftermarket snowmobile segment and will be able to provide their dealers with instant access to our FLOAT 2 ski shocks, upgrade kits, and the tools and parts needed to properly service their customers,” said Carey Daku, aftermarket sales representative at FOX.

The Float 2’s negative spring technology allows for a plush ride in initial travel and faster, stiffer cornering while maintaining ultra ride plushness, according to FOX. It has infinitely adjustable main air chamber pressure and advanced high-flow velocity-sensitive damping. Riders can lose up to six pounds off their sleds when replacing coil spring shocks.

WPS has distribution warehouses located in Boise, Idaho; Fresno, Calif.; Memphis, Tenn.; Elizabethtown, Penn.; and Ashley Ind.
