Polaris had six of the 10 most viewed side-by-sides on KBB.com during the month of May, according to data provided to Powersports Business from Kelley Blue Book.

A 2008 Polaris Ranger RZR was the most viewed side-by-side on KBB.com during May, with 772 customer views. Its KBB wholesale value is $6,050, with a trade-in value of $5,520 and an average market research price of $6,680.

A 2006 Yamaha Rhino 660 4×4 took the second spot, with 612 customer views on KBB.com. Its wholesale value is $4,800, with a KBB trade-in value of $4,365 and an average market research price of $5,088.

Next on the list are the 2007, 2008 and 2006 Polaris Ranger XP. Yamaha holds the Nos. 6-8 spots with the 2007 Rhino 660 4×4, the 2007 Rhino 4×4 SE and the 2004 Rhino 660 4×4. Polaris vehicles round out the top 10 with the 2009 Ranger RZR 760 and the 2010 Ranger RZR 800 S.

“Depending on region, hobbyist off-roaders are considering side-by-sides over traditional ATVs because of increased safety, the capacity for more riders and the broader range of accessories available,” said Lisa Pelissier, Kelley Blue Book senior analyst. “The used market for UTVs trends slightly stronger than conventional ATVs, which should be encouraging for dealers who are considering taking in and/or moving out pre-owned units.”
