ADP Lightspeed, a dealer management system provider, and Performance Inc., a 20 Group facilitator, announced their formation of powersports dealer 20 Groups at Profit Xcelerator, Powersports Business’ conference and expo in late September.
The two companies have partnered to lead groups that will require no additional paperwork for members of ADP Lightspeed’s Databack system.
“We work with Lightspeed to download all their information on a monthly basis, so it’s actually no sweat for a dealer who signed up for Databack,” said Sheila York, director of group operations for Performance Inc.
Performance Inc. has been managing 20 groups since 1974, when the company started working with Canadian auto dealers. The company now facilitates groups in the automotive, heavy-duty truck, RV, marine and other transportation industries.
“We compile about 5,000 financial statements every month. We have 1,500 members in our
20 groups,” York reported. The average dealer spends 10 years in a Performance Inc. 20 group, she added.
