Ducati unveils 2012 Multistrada, Hypermotard
Just weeks away from the unveiling of Ducati’s new 1199 Panigale Superbike at the EICMA International Motorcycle Show in Milan (Nov. 10-13) and following the recent release and launch of the brand new Streetfighter 848, Ducati has unveiled the 2012 Multistrada and Hypermotard.
The Multistrada is the company’s top-selling motorcycle line, behind the Multistrada 1200, 1200 S Sport Pikes Peak Special Edition and 1200 S Touring.
In addition to the currently available red and arctic white color schemes, the Multistrada 1200 S Touring also will be offered in a new “race titanium matte” color scheme with a “racing black” frame, arriving in dealerships December.
All 2012 models will have a revised, comfort-enhanced rider’s seat with an increased front and rear length and will be offered at model year 2011 pricing.
The 2012 Hypermotard 1100EVO SP will now be available as a Corse Edition. High ground clearance, high spec suspension, new seat aesthetics and high bars make the 1100EVO SP Corse Edition track-ready for action in full red, white and black Ducati Corse official colors. With pricing that will remain unchanged, the 2012 Hypermotard 1100EVO SP is available now.
