KTM partners with Athena products

KTM has announced a worldwide partnership with Athena, a manufacturer of motorcycle cylinders, gaskets and pistons, and makers of GET ECUs, data acquisition systems and video devices for motorsports.

“What started with a good relationship when Claudio de Carli joined the KTM factory team management structure — when Tony Cairoli first signed with us in 2010 — has now developed into a productive and rewarding global partnership,” said Pit Beirer of KTM Motorsports.

Athena works out of three plants in Alonte, Italy, where it manufactures gaskets, stamped and pressed metal components, aluminum cylinders for internal combustion engines and other engine hard-parts. Athena also has manufacturing and/or sales and distribution facilities in Spain, Brazil, India and the U.S.
