LeoVince USA expands, adds staff
LeoVince USA is thriving despite limited growth of the economy this year, boasting its strongest sales year in the U.S. market, the company reports. To accommodate the growth of over 40 percent, LeoVince USA recently increased its staff and warehouse capabilities.
Jeff Viets has joined LeoVince USA as director of operations to strengthen operations, expand sales and ensure industry-leading customer service. Viets is a motorcycle and telecom executive veteran.
Meanwhile, powersports industry veteran Rick Marlin has been promoted to national director of sales to continue development of the sector-leading FORZA dealer rewards program and future expansion of the sales and customer service departments.
Chris Urewicz has come on board as warehouse and facilities associate, and Michele Vosper has joined LeoVince USA as customer service specialist.
LeoVince USA recently completed a warehousing expansion and upgrading project that will result in the largest inventory of LeoVince products ever carried in the U.S. market. It also means that products – shipped weekly from Italy – will be in stock and ready to ship for fast, consistent customer service.
The expansion project has resulted in an additional 20,000 cubic feet of warehouse space for LeoVince USA inventory, which will allow fast-moving products to be stocked in greater quantities.
Additional warehouse space was also required to accommodate the ever-growing LeoVince line of products. Eight new product lines were recently introduced, and the new LeoVince F.A.S.T. Fuel and Ignition Systems will soon join that lineup.
In another move that improves LeoVince’s high dealer service-level agreement, shipments are now placed weekly with a seven- to 10-day turnaround. This creates the best fulfillment and largest availability of product ever for the U.S. market.
