SuperTrapp uses Bike Nite to benefit charity

SuperTrapp, a Cleveland-based performance exhaust manufacturer, and Quaker Steak & Lube joined forces this summer to host Bike Nite Food Drives at six of Quaker Steak & Lube’s locations.

Bike Nite attendees were encouraged to make a food donation and/or a minimum of a $5 monetary donation. Those who did received a free, commemorative “Fuel Your Passion While You Feed The Hungry” SuperTrapp and Quaker Steak & Lube Bike Nite t-shirt.

The monetary and food donations collected throughout the summer were a community effort. SuperTrapp and several other local companies, such as Cleveland Harley-Davidson Sales, DCM Manufacturing Inc. and Maradyne Corporation, raised $686 and 225 pounds of food to help benefit the Cleveland Foodbank’s Harvest for Hunger. Those donations coupled with all of those collected at various SuperTrapp Bike Nite Food Drives throughout the summer generated a total off $1,411 and 535 pounds to help benefit various area food banks throughout Ohio and Pennsylvania.

“We encouraged everyone to fill up their saddle bags, purses, pockets, jackets and back packs with food and head out to Bike Nite Food Drives. The response was overwhelming,” said Gina Pastuszynski, SuperTrapp’s marketing manager. “We greatly appreciate all of the riders and enthusiasts within our local communities that came together to make the SuperTrapp Bike Nite Food Drives a huge success.”

Bike Nite attendees who visited the 48-foot SuperTrapp display trailer and submitted a contest entry form were eligible for a chance to win a gift certificate redeemable for a SuperTrapp or Kerker exhaust worth up to $1,000.
