S&S Cycle adds V-twin industry veteran

S&S Cycle Inc. has welcomed Scott Seaman to its team as warranty rebuild and remanufacturing service manager.

A familiar face in the V-twin industry for more than 20 years, Seaman is a lifelong motorcycle enthusiast and has been riding and working on motorcycles since the age of 7. He worked for Andrews Products Inc. for 12 years in Chicago before relocating to Omaha, Neb., to work for GMA Engineering in 2002. With the boom of the V-twin industry fading, GMA closed its doors in the fall of 2007, forcing Seaman into an involuntary absence from the industry.

While working for Andrews, Scott built and raced a Pro Dragster Nitro Harley for six years. During his time with GMA, he built and raced a street legal FXR with an S&S V124 engine.

“At this time we are able to turn complete engine rebuilds around in three-four weeks,” he said. “Most small jobs are being turned around within a week.”
