Polaris launches website for vehicle, accessory searches

Polaris has unveiled a new website aimed at easing riders’ shopping and riding experiences.

The site, www.purepolaris.com, and its sister site, www.purevictorygear.com, allow customers to search for information about the company’s vehicles, locate accessories and learn about parts and maintenance, according to a release from the company.

With Pure Polaris sites, riders can learn what accessories are available for their vehicles and see how the accessories would look on 2010 and 2011 models using a customization tool. Once customers locate the accessories, they can bring the parts numbers into any Polaris dealer.

Users also can learn about the vehicles’ specifications, read PowerSports Network reviews, watch video and view photos.

“Our new website gives customers what they’ve asked for: More information that’s easier to find through simple search tools,” Scott Swenson, vice president/general manager PG&A and Snowmobile Division, said in the release. “We also significantly enhanced the vehicle fit information to ensure it’s clear to customers which accessories fit their specific vehicles.”
