PSB to host FREE mobile technology Webinar
Dealers and industry members looking for a new way to communicate directly with customers can learn how to do just that in a free mobile technology Webinar next week.
The Webinar, which is being presented as part of a new partnership between Powersports Business, CycleTrader.com and PowerSports Network, will introduce attendees to the business possibilities associated with today’s handheld devices. The Webinar will be held Wednesday, Sept. 29, at 1 p.m. Central Time.
“The use of smartphones and other mobile technology is exploding. In fact, smartphone shipments are expected to exceed PC shipments within two years,” says Mike Davin, Powersports Business’ Online Editor. “Not having a mobile strategy is quickly becoming as unwise as not having an Internet strategy.”
Chris Brull, Director of Marketing at Kawasaki Motors, will discuss his company’s efforts in the mobile space. Kawasaki was an early adopter of mobile marketing, hosting a promotion in April 2009 that successfully used text messaging to generate floor traffic for dealers.
In addition, Dominion Powersports Solutions, the industry’s leading network of marketing and web business solutions, will discuss how the mobile landscape has evolved. A mobile expert from two of its businesses, CycleTrader.com and PowerSports Network, will share how buyers are reaching dealers across multiple platforms from iPhone applications to dealers’ mobile sites.
