Kawasaki reports rising North American sales
Kawasaki’s North American sales improved substantially over its year-ago period, the company recently reported.
Kawasaki’s sales in North America for its recent quarter that ended June 30 totaled $695 million, a 19 percent improvement over a year ago. That sales number includes all of the company’s divisions, including its powersports segment, “Motorcycle and Engine.”
By itself, the powersports segment increased its worldwide revenue 12 percent over a year ago.
Overall, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, the parent company of Kawasaki Motors Corp. U.S.A., reported an 8 percent increase in sales over the year-ago period.
