Longtime Helmet House official passes away

Joann Golden, the Helmet House office manager for the past 25 years, recently passed away, the company announced. She had been fighting cancer for several months.

The company said Golden was instrumental in making Helmet House’s offices run smoothly across the United States and for assisting the company’s chief financial officer in monitoring dealer accounts.

“Joann was the heart and soul; the emotional center of Helmet House for a quarter century,” said Phil Bellomy, Helmet House’s vice president and co-founder. “Everyone who worked here thought the world of Joann and her strong relationships with several hundred dealers within the Helmet House dealer network.”

Donations in Golden’s memory can be made to the Cancer Research Institute at 1-800-99 CANCER or at www.cancerresearch.org. Condolences also can be sent to the Golden family care of Helmet House, Inc, 26855 Malibu Hills Road, Calabasas, Calif., 91301.
