Yamaha recalls about 20,000 ATVs

Yamaha recalls about 20,000 ATVs Powersports Business Monday May 3, 2010  
In cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Yamaha Motor Corporation U.S.A. voluntarily recalled about 20,000 Grizzly ATVs, according to the CPSC.

The recall was issued because the steering column support assembly can crack and cause the rider to lose steering control, posing a risk of injury or death to riders, reported the CPSC.

Yamaha has received 19 reports of incidents involving the recalled ATVs, but no injuries have been reported.
