Ape Hangers

Custom Cycle Control Systems (CCCS) introduced its new 12- and 16-inch Ape Hangers complete and assembled with Climax Hand Controls. The hand controls are completely concealed. All the lines, wires and cables run through the bars and exit below the top tree. CCCS can custom make any size Ape Hanger built to the rider’s specs, starting at an additional fee of $250. All CCCS handlebar systems are CNC machined from extruded billet aluminum and are available in either show chrome or black anodized finishes. Bars also can be polished or powder-coated gloss black. There are six styles of grips to choose from, or CCCS can modify most other grips.

Airflow windshield system

The new GIVI patented Airflow windshield system offers a fully adjustable upper Polycarbonate screen blade easily mounted and removed from a lower shield latching guide mechanism. The Airflow system offers a total height adjustment of 7 inches; however the upper screens profile contours to give enhanced wind protection. GIVI currently offers this system for seven motorcycle/scooter models. A key feature of this dual windshield adjustment system is the “Venturi Effect” created when the wind is constricted between the upper and lower screens. The result is an accelerated force of air through the windshields that pushes the on-rushing wind further up above the rider, producing a turbulence-free zone. The new Airflow system is designed to alleviate the common issues of buffeting and helmet turbulence as well as reducing wind noise and increasing rider wind protection.

Cobra Engineering released its PowrFlo Air Intake system, a replacement air filter and custom aluminum cover for metric V-twins and Harley-Davidson motorcycles. This bolt-on air intake replaces the entire stock system, giving a custom look with an aerodynamic style and improved performance because of its better air flow.

This Limited Edition windscreen takes its shape from the popular VStream currently available for the GL1800 Gold Wing. The unique “V” shape, a 2.5-inch setback and dimensional contour, helps push the turbulent wind out and away from the side of the rider’s head. National Cycle enhances its new touring windscreen with thick 6mm polycarbonate material. It mounts to the motorcycle using stock hardware and a supplied set of die cut rubber mount pads.
