Record number of poll respondents weigh in on Harley leaving sport bike market

More than 500 respondents shared their opinions about whether Harley-Davidson made the right move in leaving the sport bike market.

Nearly 50 percent of respondents said the company did not make the right decision because the manufacturer should have kept the Buell brand. The next highest percent of people said Harley did make the right move. About 32 percent said the company needed to leave that market.

Dramatically fewer respondents thought Harley should keep both Buell and MV Agusta, 10.7 percent. The least amount of people thought Harley should have kept MV Agusta, 7.7 percent.
